I had a great experience at this hotel during my recent trip to New York. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the subway, which made getting around the city incredibly easy and convenient. I also appreciated how safe and secure the hotel felt throughout my stay. The environment is well maintained, and I felt comfortable at all times. A special mention goes to the amazing and highly professional staff. Everyone I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its location, safety, and exceptional service. I would definitely stay here again!

Staying at the property now, and wanted to shout out Cecelia from housekeeping. She was very kind and attentive (especially since I’m recovering for surgery here at the hotel). She would check in, and she showed me the staircase I saw online that is beautiful. We really appreciate her! Front Desk staff were helpful as well.

My daughter and her boyfriend stayed here a month ago for 2 nights on a weekend trip from Canada as their first time in New York City for a comedy show at MSG. This is the only hotel that allows Age 18 for reservations with affordable prices, great location and luxury! The front desk staff were so friendly and amazing in ensuring my daughter and her boyfriend would be able to put a deposit down in cash as her credit card did not arrive in the mail due to a postal strike. They were so kind, patient and made me feel confident that they would be taken care of and safe. My daughter and her boyfriend had a wonderful experience here. They both agreed the hotel was gorgeous, elegant and the staff were amazing!!! They unfortunately had to leave in the middle of the second night (3am) due to the big winter storm that was coming in on the Sunday when they were leaving. They were so anxious due to the flight/shuttle cancelation which was rebooked for a 6am flight at EWR instead of 2pm at JFK and wanting to get out safely to beat the storm. The front desk staff were so courteous and helpful in ensuring they were checked out quickly and were given their receipt and refund of deposit. The price was affordable and worth it however, the couple of issues were, the view was of another building, no fridge, Smart TV and no WIFI which should've been included in the price for the cost per night especially after the currency exchange into Canadian. The location was perfect for the distance to MSG, Times Square and endless options of food and shopping. The subway right next door was perfect for their trip to the Brooklyn Bridge which was an amazing experience! Overall the experience was wonderful and when they return for a longer stay in NY, this is the hotel they will be staying at! Would highly recommend Thank you Martinique Hotel and Staff!

Great location! Walking distance to Broadway shows, Times Square, Chelsea Market, etc and easy Subway access for everything else. Staff was kind and helpful, room (Deluxe Queen) was spacious and quiet and beds/pillows/shower were great. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at the Martinique New York was a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the location is unbeatable. It was very easy to get to and from JFK, and its central spot made it simple to reach other parts of the city. We also had a wonderful experience with Jose, who was incredibly hospitable and gave us some fantastic tips on things to do and see around the city. However, there were several drawbacks to the stay. The room was quite small, which we expected for NYC, but the view was completely blocked by scaffolding. The service was also inconsistent; while Jose was great, many other staff members weren't very friendly. In terms of amenities, the room felt lacking. There was no fridge at all, which was inconvenient. We also found it frustrating that water bottles weren't refilled daily and that we had to specifically request most basic toiletries rather than having them provided automatically. It’s a great spot for the location, but the room features and service could definitely be improved.

For 2 occupants a single queen bed room is adequate but Rooms are relatively small. You will have to maneuver opening your luggage if it’s larger than a carry-on. Modern furniture and clean wallls and furniture surfaces. Lighting is dim. Many outlets for plugging devices. Bathroom is small but modern with LED mirrors, floating sink and cabinet, walk-in shower with great water pressure and hot water. TV’s need to be updated, no Smart TVs. HDMI TV hook up available. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city. Macys and Time square are walking distance . Plenty of restaurants. It’s also near the popular Korea Town. Plenty of food and shopping areas.

I wish I could give a 5, but because of the rooms and 2 encounters with 2 employees, I have to give a 4. The beds were awful, no good sleep, I did not bring to The attention of a manager until the last night, figured I would leave it alone, pillows were terrible, but did get better ones. As far as appearance inside it’s perfect, the bar is nice and the graffiti shop was good. As far as customer service…. I will give Jose a 5 star he’s top notch! I always will 5 star Carolyn and Florence, I had interactions over the phone with them prior to coming and service was excellent! There was 1 bellman and 1 security who really was unfriendly and just didn’t want to help, but it’s ok Jose handled it all! The shower is great and housekeeping did a great job keeping the room cleaned. I spoke with Tara the manager on duty and she was good to talk to. I would stay again!

I had a fantastic check in experience at the Martinique New York on Broadway thanks to Caroline at the front desk. I arrived around 1:30 PM, well before the standard check in time, and she couldn’t have been nicer. Since I’m a Gold member, she kindly arranged an early check in and even upgraded my room from a queen to a king. The new room is wonderful. A comfortable king bed, a nice sitting area, and everything feels clean, modern, and really well done. What really stood out, though, was Caroline’s attitude. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy to help. It’s always refreshing to meet someone who clearly enjoys their job and makes guests feel taken care of. A great start to my stay! Five stars for Caroline and the Martinique!
